any previous D90 user around here? do you think it's worth an upgrade from D90 to D7000?
the two things what i'm really considering is the 39 focus points and the dual card memory slots
the same thing with D300 but the D300 has 51 focus points but only one memory card slot

There's also the AF fine-tune. I didn't think I need it when I was using the D80 but now that I have that option, it's seriously very useful

try again on M mode, set shutter to at least 1/500...is it still laggy?

Hi guys, sorry that I was a bit busy to view replies from you guys. I tried M mode and it works. I realised that once flash is on... cannot go on rapid snapping?
On the other hand, thanks for all the advices. I still very blur... but will try stuffs that u guys mentioned... thanks.

cos your flash cannot recharge so quickly? imagine your flash flashing with every shutter snapping... it's gonna heat up so fast and blow everything up!

Yeah SkimMilk already said it. The flash can't go on firing 3FPS. But there's a repeating flash function you can use though. The higher your flash power, the longer it takes to recharge. External flashes tend to charge faster, but also fire more power at once. You can buy external battery packs, which allows the external flash to use around 6 or 8 batteries at a time, hence increasing it's recharge rate. Battery packs have quite a considerable size for something of such value though. I wouldn't wanna lug one around

Hi anyone knows where to get a 3rd party battery for Nikon D7000? Not battery grip but the EN-EL15 itself.
I have been googling and checking mass sales section but havent seen one.

I'll be shooting in subzero conditions atop the swiss alps... need many batteries due to extreme cold. many of the batteries would probably be damaged too.

anybody bought a D7000 recently? how much did u pay and what freebies did u get?

impulse purphase..

I realised I dont realli like photography. But recently just bought D7000k , and 35mm 1.8 and tokina 11-16mm and sb 900 and dry box and Sirui carbon tripod and many filters and camera bag.

All used like less than 2 -3 times. How ? Now everything is like a white elephant. I am not rich, earning power is only 2k per month.

Sell them off? It's still mint anyway. But if you want you can probably keep the camera for personal use while travelling etc, or sell it too and get a cheaper and lighter one

Keep yr d7k... It one of e best crop body now
