Heehee...i just thought of all these business strategy thing.... , might not be true, just patching whatever info I can recall:
Canon is so worry that their lead in DSLR will be taken over by Nikon and feel threatening by the launch of D90 and D300 etc. They studied the trend and Nikon's strong points. Then we saw the launching of 40D (50D), 7D and now 60D. Note that the 60D's plastic body (Canon should have anticipated that Nikon will come out a successor of D90 with similar specs). Nikon knows that Canon will come out with few models just to counter attack, therefore came out with D7000, and at very least, launching D7000 with Magnesium Alloy body. Don't know what will happen to the 60D project team... :bsmilie:
(note that from these models we can see different strategies manipulated by each brand itself)
One thing I can't understand is that why Canon cannot just stick to their own style and strong points, instead of keep watching out every Nikon's movement...
