Recommended class 6 but you can still use a class 4.
If you are upgrading, just buy the class 10 like me. ^^

u can surf HWZ for shops carrying Class10. i remember seeing some pricelists something last week

Where you buy class 10 arh?

I'm using 32gb x 2 (class 10) for my camera. You can find at Sim Lim. I bought mine oversea at S$230 each. Usually I write 1 card for jpg, 1 card for raw.

32gb can store 3 hr 40mins full HD (1080p, 24p) video. Using min class 6 is recommended for video, although you can use lower class but you risk error while writing at high speed.

Think the price will not drop much from current selling price ($1700 & $1968). At most also less than $100 different after a few weeks wait.
Hi , Where is the shop selling $ 1968 ?

my friend just bought the D7000 at OP.

i was doing some test after he bought the camera and the ISO noise control is a little overrated.
@1600 and above the noise is visible even on the small LCD. (it was just a simple test)

the noise control is very much similar to my D90.

just to let you know if you have a D90.

By the way, does any new owners of the D7000 faces soft images and hot pixels while video taking like what some of the reviews I've read online?? Anyone care to shed some insight?

Anyone know how many minutes of video can you take using D7000 highest video quality? (1080P 24fps)

How about the focusing during video mode? Is the AF in video accurate? or it needs to hunt alot?

I am using D300 now, and I am very interested in DSLR video, i hope D7000 can perform well as per its specs, cos I don't want to swich to Canon...

Bro, same here. Btw, I am holding my horses because price has not settle down yet, i am not in an urge the get the cam and most importantly, waiting local user reviews (which will not differ much from other countries users) and body only. If possible, waiting the launch with some free gifts. :)

Should be 20 mins.

For video, you need step down to f4 minimum to get more decent stuff. Yes, it hunt alot, so u get blur then sharp. And the focus noise very loud. I will suggest using manual focus for video.

It is recommended that an external mic is to be connected to the camera for movie recording with sound so that the AF sound will not be recorded into the video.

Didn't thought of this. ;p

Hope they up their firmware to support 60p and improve the AF system in video mode.

Thanks 007 for pointing me to the video... I think for the amount of money a D7000 is worth it, compare to 7D.

IQ wise, I find that D7000 is performing well. Just that the focusing during video shoot needs more work to be done, but for the time being, i think its good enough for casual user like myself.

At least I don't have to sell my lens to fund for a different system lens...

I think my mind is set... just that I am hoping to see a better deal out there...
How come USA always get a better deal... :)
