aside from the two PC lenses 'leaked', my best guess would be a 24-105/4 FX lens.

as for the D80 replacement, i would guess the designation is D10.

D300 .. 400 .. 500
D700 .. 800 .. 900
before a whole new series starts

hmm... if price really USD$2,999 then I think a used D3 will be more attractive :lovegrin: saw on Japan site got used D3 going around SGD$4,000 le. ;p think by then D700 release will bring the used price down more. ;p
