how about the front lens?
should it be protected by UV filter or polarizing filter?
Use UV. Make sure u dun wipe down if there are salt crystals on the lens. May get scratches.

Nice attempt, but #1 seems to be underexposed and as for #3 not sure which part are u focusing , izit the egg or the base? hope this helps![]()

I'm not sure about the D60, but my D80 tends to underexpose each photo by a little. I use center-weighted metering. So I almost always have to dial in exposure compensation by 1 or 2 steps. I think I set each step to 1/3 stop (can't remember already!), so 2 steps would be 2/3 stops of extra light.
