John 3:16 sells it. starting off, get sb-600, especially since you don't know much yet. the sb-600 is an easy and good way to learn. SB-600 is about $350? sb-800 is about $500?

i'm using the sb-600 now. upgrading to 800 or 900 at the end of the year, probably.

D80 with battery grip, 18-135mm f3.5-5.6, 50mm f1.8, 80-200mm f2.8, SB600, rocket blower (the dua liap one). i think all that can fit in the 30L, but i intend to expand my little arsenal early next year with a 17-50f2.8 or 24-75f2.8, and more afterwards, so i don't want to have to buy another drycabi then.

if u have the intention to expand me suggest u get a bigger cabinet bro. is SB-600 gd enough for night shooting?

haha yeah i guess i will.

that depends. what are you shooting? how far away will you be? how big a group/subject?
there are alot of factors to consider. But if you're just shooting groups of 5 or 6 people that are less than 10m away, they the sb-600 will be good. i usually use my flash when shooting indoors, at night i'm usually shooting portraits. landscape doesn't require flash unless you wanna do some effect.

i only store my D60 + kit len + 55-200.

good that you're all considering buying dry cab...whether you have 1 camera and 1 lens or multiple cameras and multiple lenses, the fungi don't really care and will just grow on whatever you've got becos of our humid air.

but like most things, not all dry cab are alike...one thing you want to think abt before u buy is how fast the cab takes to dry out when you open and close the door...some take hours..some minutes...that's the reason why some cost more than others although same capacity...most dry cab can last a long time...don't buy a cheapo one or u regret later..invest in a fairly good one...abt $250 can get u a good 60l digital controlled cabi..dun buy base on wat gear u hav now but wat u willl have over the next 2-3 years...happy BBB:cool:

Take out the Rocket blower... Rubber dun last well in a dry place, it may crack over time.
