Thank-si! :)
But how do you manual focus on 50mm 1.8D?
Because if i can't then there is no point buying..
Anyone using 50mm F1.8 D on their D5100?

o.o you can use manual focus on 50mm 1.8d ah.. if not top up for the new af-s 50mm?

Got mine yesterday! Yey!

Compared to ISO 400?
Found that there is a sweet spot for the D5100..... I find that the images taken at ISO1600 is better than images taken at ISO800.... weird huh....

Hi Tony what is the price of your D5100 and where you purchased?

Is the digipod tripod one of the usual freebies when you buy the D5100

Is the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR a better choice than the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR (3.0x) to go with the D5100

If i'm not wrong, sg dun have the kit with 18-105mm. U can choose to buy body only then buy a seperate 18-105mm. Or you can discuss with the store for swaping an 18-105mm for u.

Thinking to switch the kit 18-55mm to the 18-105mm at the store. The store offers an extra battery. Not sure if this extra battery is necessary as I don't think I shoot so many shots. Any opinions on the extra battery.

Get the extra battery. Personally i feel safe to have a backup supply wherever I am. As for the 18-105, after using it for a while, I like the convenience it offers. However, it tends to vignette in some situation. Saw them in my pics during post processing. Not quite happy with it.

Not sure. It could be tk's promo package.

What type of Nikon bag is provided as freebie? Is it the top loading type with lens storage on both ends?
