I was also taken a-back somewhat by the price when I got the SMS. It seems to be higher than the US even at a 1.5 exchange rate. Also the AF-S 50mm f/1.4 is significantly higher in price than compared to the US where B&H is asking about USD450.

Though I love to own one.I WILL NOT be buying at all.

In fact I wasn't even interested if it is coming at all.

Cos the same sentiment here.

In this current situation, cash is king, and the 12k can last me at least 6 month of rental and loan repayment for my truck.

Buying the D3x will not help to bring in more revenue at all in my business.

In fact it is just a waste of good money.

My D3 as well as my Aptus Leaf, have amortize its cost and earning me a living. No need for a D3x.
