D300s is out......!!!

D300s should be out soon.. It's just a minor upgrade from D300.

Even the chasis looks the same. Before the news announcement yesterday, working models has been released for a few group to test. Not sure if Singapore get any test set.

There is bound to be D400. If Nikon think that D300/s is so good that they can't improve on it. They will be short-sghted and ignorant. Canon or other brand will teach Nikon how to improve on D300. haa haa

D300 with body-VR = D400? haa haa Maybe not possible as it will kill off the goose laying golden eggs.

Brighter VF and flipping LCD could be a good upgrade for D400.

Understand that D300s also comes with 2 kit configerations. With 16-85 or 18-200 VRII.

In that case, guessing on the kit set price shld be ard 2.3 to 2.5++???

it's for the body only..i oredi have the 18-200mm...no point upgrading to the the new one

Only possible if the 2.3k kit is with 18-55, and the 2.5k kit is with 18-105. 16-85 is close to 1k and 18-200 is over 1k retail. Otherwise you can buy the 2.5k kit and sell the lens (16-85 or 18-200) for around 1k and you get a new D300s for around 1.5k. Like that I also want.

Told a lot of people not to go FX unless there is really a need like shooting high ISO or ultrawide... Most of the time people don't listen.. then they got bitten by the high priced bodies and lenses.. haha! ;p
