Damn, you guys are 12 hours ahead of me. I have to wait till tomorrow to see mine. Pre-ordered and pre-paid, and the list is long. I'm glad I bit the bullet the day it was announced.

Now, tonight will be the longest night I have been....

The D3 ads is out wow shiok.

Was reading this month's edition of Outdoor Photography mag. Nikon had this ad with an ultra-wide angle shot (obviously with the 14-24mm) of a moto-GP racer, at high ISO. The ad tagline went "No DSLR in the world could take this shot. So we created one that can".

Awesome ad! Defies the brainwash we've been through about sports shooters not needing ultra wides and that "it's fine to live with 1.3x"!

i just left it overnight to charge it.more than 8 hours.

in the manual, it was stated to charge 2.5 hours to full cap.

btw, i didnt get mine from cp
