i stayed in a kampung in Track 13, Punggol when i was a child.
then i moved to Hougang when the Gov. evacuated us.

Track 13 eh? Near Punggol Malay School? Ain't tat area haunted since it was near WW2 execution grounds? Was converted to some MOE campsite when i went school camp in Pri 6...
Also I rem once when it was high tide and was raining heavily, the road towards Punggol was flooded and fish were flopping on it... And where did the wooden boats of Kangkar go to? How about the barber shop behind Zenith theatre? :think:

the myth abt track 13 is true. i grew up as a kampung boy and was instructed not to play near this particular big tree. my mum told me that it has some spirit dwelling in it... protecting the villagers from possible intruders. i've never experienced anything 'extra' la...:sweat:





i remember seeing fireflies... catching them too... ha!

I rem someone said he saw "something" in big tree at corner of the camping grounds... No-one siao enuff to try confirming the sighting tho'..
