kovan mrt is named so because they didn't have a name for the station in between hougang and serangoon. and so they just borrowed the name from that particular road for the station. or at least I think. :D

Grapevine is a nice chillout place, i like that place. we could go there for a coffee some day

jln Kayu is over-hyped, over-rated. the best prata in S'pore is served in an opposition estate, Hougang Ave 2. the only coffeeshop in this estate has this stall which serves very tasty and very nice roti prata. always sold out just before lunch! anyway, nowadays they prepare more to cater to the crowd.

Kovan MRT? hahaha

Maybe you and I eat from the same roti prata store. Wonder if it's family-owned, as I sometimes see one old-looking lady helping out there.

Wow...is it really that good? Haven't gone around that area since the Burger King moved out.

I find the food so-so only and the prices are abit steep. For eg. a cup of kopi-O, using same type of cup as those in the coffeeshop, cost almost $3! Around $2 would be more reasonable.

along the hong kong family restraunt, that stretch the porridge not bad lei...

anw hws the pricing of grapvine?

for family of 4 :

40 or less
40 -50
50-80
80-100
100 or more?

B.K sucks. Carl's Jr. Rocks!

8 minutes behind Kovan MRT, and up the hill, past Simon
Camp....

there's a fantastic noodle shop in Heartless Mall hawker center, i think it is Teochew Fishball Noodle, just right next to a beancurd shop. the LAKSA is fantastic!

the noodle shop next to this Teochew Fishball shop, the uncle whom i call Elvis, Ruifa Cooked Food(or Ruifa noodle shop)... wa seh! u'll never eat such nice and exotic and special noodles anywhere else! S$3/bowl gets me all worked up! SEDAP! the soup is special too!:bsmilie:

The Luoyang Cooked Food which specialises in Roast Duck... wa seh.. another KILLER!

i love to eat at Heartless Mall hawker center. good food, good pricing... but hard to get a table...
