Wah..., so fast!smallaperture said:Now only 19days left. Anyone started booking? Or any shop accepting booking?
I don't really need a new cam, but I want one. This is like changing car every 3 years, computer every 2 years, and GF every 6 months or so. ;p![]()
CMOS and CCD is the way how manufacturer design or create the sensor.blurrblurr said:CMOS and CCD is there really any different?

Haha.. i like this "will it make you a better photographer"!! ;pjacob said:will it make you a better photographer???? if yes i'll BBB.
From what i know. CCD is actually better than CMOS but CMOS is cheaper than CCD to develop. However due to advancement in technology CMOS is able to produce matching quality with CCD so company replace CMOS for cost saving.longkangman said:You have to check up at why camera uses CMOS. :dunno:

But strange haven seen any CMOS video cam around.
Agree CMOS lesser noise than CCD. CCD give more vibrant colour but CMOS catching upmajere2sg said:CMOS, lesser noise at higher ISO, less battery draining
But I think the CCD gives more vibrant colors if I am not wrong.
And CCD catching up too for lesser noise :bsmilie: .blurrblurr said:Agree CMOS lesser noise than CCD. CCD give more vibrant colour but CMOS catching up
Wow imagine one day no more flim in the market and we are able to buy 36 Kodak or fujiflim CCD or CMOS and mount on FF DSLR without sensor!Artosoft said:Heh...
If we can switch/change sensor to CCD or CMOS like changing film in film SLR era :embrass: .
Regards,
Arto.
Ya la as I said more costly to develop too. Maybe one day we a same nikon model with different series, D90D and D90MArtosoft said:And CCD catching up too for lesser noise :bsmilie: .

But each one only can use for 36+3extras shoots :bsmilie: :embrass:  .blurrblurr said:Wow imagine one day no more flim in the market and we are able to buy 36 Kodak or fujiflim CCD or CMOS and mount on FF DSLR without sensor!
Or better, CCD, CMOS and film  .blurrblurr said:Ya la as I said more costly to develop too. Maybe one day we a same nikon model with different series, D90D and D90M
One run on CCD and one run on CMOS and we have to believe which one have better colour :bsmilie:
