just got back from IT Show, tried NEX-7, x-pro1 and E-M5.. E-M5 is really poisonous for me, I like the EVF and AF is quite fast compared to my E-P3. too bad only available mid April, my trip is end of March

i also tried GX1, OMD-EM5 and Nex-7, EM5 really is the clear winner, no horse run.
it not only bring out the retro look of a camera, the 5axis IBIS is really amazing which i don't know how to describe.
The EVF is so clear and AF is so fast and accurate, the grip is good to hold and buttons easily accessible.
once you got a feel of it on your hands, you immediately feel like bring it home.

And with the superb high ISO performance and olympus colour, plus weather sealed, wa lao leh, how to resist this babe during April.

Pre-ordered with the adapter. Just wondering if it can arrive before 21st Apr and with extra battery, coz going on a trip on 22 Apr. If no extra battery, might want to bring GX1 along for trip as well.

Just checked out two reputable shops in the Peninsula/Funan area. Both also have the 32 GB SD card or MMF3 promo if you pre-order during the promotion period, but not sure about the other freebies (cleaning kit, bag, dry cabi etc those kind of things). Didn't ask cos they are not important to me. Anyway, one shop quoted same as IT show for the 12-50 Kit and must place 50% deposit. So the only advantage is that no need to brave the crowds at IT show. The other shop quoted $17xx. So I whack and confirmed my order. First shipment in 1st week April!;p

By the way, Hong Kong official prices are:

Body alone: HKD8,990 (S$1,450)
12-50 kit: HKD10,690 (S$1,730)

So if you are going for body only, then no point buying from Hong Kong. Unless you are going for grey sets ("water goods") then the prices should be a bit lower.
