My shipment is coming in 3rd week April and it comes with the free gift. My guess is that so long as you pre-ordered during the promo period with the authorized retailers, you will get the free gift, regardless of whether it's 1st or 2nd shipment.

I think they will try for 1st week April for those who booked first shipment. Second shipment is late April or even May. Apparently second shipment no free gifts. Can anyone confirm?

I think at the moment, no one really knows. Even Olympus Singapore themselves probably can't be sure.
I've seen dates flying around for the past 2 weeks, now I just ignore liao, wait for the March 31st Japan launch then start to worry.

My guess is that they put a later date on purpose, just in case of some disaster that affects their production schedule.

FYI:
Olympus Singapore Facebook put "early early April".
When I ordered from Courts, the supervisor said end March/ early April but can't be confirmed.
B&H said 10th April 3 weeks ago, but since changed to 16th April (for USA).
Some people in UK said 31 March (on DPreview).

if i am not wrong, when ep3 was announced last year, the actual date of arrival at our shore is 1 week earlier than what the retailer told us.

lets hope it will be the same for OMD-EM5.:cheergal:

think so too. I check with Slrr not sure, check with Parisilk say both shipment have but need Ic to log in. I think Parisilk more zhun coz it seems very limited and controlled qty given by oly to both at this point. One thing for sure though there's a 16gb in box liao I took mmf 3 coz I check slrr 32gb extreme price is only 75...hopefully Af speed can be improved in future models

yes, double confirmed with SLRR & Parisilk, unless they both pull fast one on me not sure of the speed of card though

Woo, ditching my d7000 for m4/3. Time is good for m4/3 cameras.

Panasonic manage to squeeze 16mp in the sensor and demonstrate the IQ is good. Assuming the em-5 also have the same chip.

Whats more? Either brands can use each other lenses, Leica for panny, nice oly lenses as well and the m4/3 mount noktor lens.
