emolux is one of the worst kind of filter.. and they are given free bundle usually with dslr kit..
and ittou i know, is the 3rd party battery . I used to use for my d70, and in no way it is superior to the original. Even with the higher mAH the original still lasts me longer.

One of these days when I drop by peninsula maybe i drop by and see this shop lol :)
see how are they gonna con me :)

Not likely in a public place; but to better enhance your security; bring a friend along; and bring a videocam along too to record any attempts to coerce, intimidate or the like.

i wonder would i get hit by them if i do that, as there is their "area"! lol

WOW...So many of these kind of threads.
Golden rule to buying: DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE BUYING!

Higher mAh simply means that it will carry more "juice" or electricity, and will provide more energy. A 2000mAh battery will deliver twice as much "juice" as a 1000mAh. Whether it means twice as many shots or twice as long.. up to you to interpret. It should Not damage the camera as the voltage is supposed to be the same.

However, in reality, these 3rd battery batteries rarely (I guess) delivery what it promises. It may be stated "5000mAh", but in practice behaves something like 1000mAh or less. And, there is no way to find out the actual capacity by simply using a multimeter and test the voltage. You need to actually draw current from it, measure the current and how long it lasts, to find out how much "juice" it can carry.

and a question about battery, will higher mAh values spoil your camera?...cause i have a third party battery with higher mAh than the original. i am using a D90

so long as as the voltage output is the same it should be fine la..haha.cause my 3rd party batt has higher mAh but the same voltage..not really concerned about whether it can really hold that much energy but rather concerned about whether my camera will spoil

They don't run out of "prey".. ;p

I can agree with you on this one though. I don't know why there should be any impression that legal advice has been given at all? This is just a friendly discussion between 2 person who cannot agree with each other ( or one who thinks the other has a glaring error to rebutt).

i agree, there is none being given here. as for other occasions.. you can easily decidefor yourself, the search function and google always easily available.

anyways, need a proper lawyer to give legal advice.. :)

Don't see any legal advice given there either :)

Comments in forums should never be taken or relied on as legal advice. If you want legal advice that you can rely on, you will need to pay for it, regardless of who the person is giving it.

To add on to the jokes, critics who teach others what to do must do the same themselves, including but not limited to proper capitalization of sentences as well as punctuating the end of sentences :) Hee hee Hee! :)

So how come there is no full stop after "sentences"? :)

How many thousand times must the bros and ststas here be reminded to buy from reputable shops and to get at least 3 quotations?

alas most people new to the hobby will not know where to start. these black shops thrive on these innocent shoppers and them setting up shops at prime high traffic volume areas only worsens the situation. these black shops better pray they don't chop wrongly some big shot tourists, if they complain to the authorities, they can prepare to close shop already.

The last time i got cheated, im very upset. After learning the incident, i only trust few shops in singapore. I learn how to bargain the price which is not in the market. Tell them that other shops are selling that price. Some will believe, some wont. But you must know their connections. Some have multiple shops in one shopping center. So beware when you want to trick them. I already got alot of pruducts below the market price before. I knock them before they knock me. Usually i wont knock them that hard unless they give me a reasonable price. For example, a flash cost 699, i got the price of 480 with include of GST. Yea, thats the way to do. And also got a lens which cost 529 and i got it at 420 with include of GST. So you need to learn how to bargain. ANd always use this trick, my friend recommend you the shop. And check for warranty. Confimr with the brand by register the, or call the company to confirm if that product doesnt bring any warranty. They can cheat you too if you got a low price and say that there isnt any warranty for that product.

And if you really want to have a good bargain, Be the last person to shop in their shop. Come in 5 mins before they close or 10 mins before they close. They will give you a very good price as they believe good luck will come. So for this case, dont knock them. Not good.

So dont agree anything about them. Tell them, you will return back later.

Good luck.
