The service center should be at Peninsula Plaza but the technician will base at Kallang Pudding Road.![]()
 That's even closer to where I live/stay!
 ... let's just see how it pans out ...

You should have taken a picture of the place and post here... so we can see better what you are trying to describe![]()
I went to meet my client and popped in to check the premises of MJ (EMJAY) as I was a Peninsula Plaza.
Boy was I underwhelmed... turned out it was just a simple two unit trading company just like what you'd find at High Street Centre.
Just a couple of tables with some folks on the phone. Unit was tucked away in the corner near the escalator opposite Albert Photo.
Hopefully they can take the trouble to do up a Pentax display and a proper reception area looking forward.
A little OT.
I'm actually a reviewer of tech products (can't reveal too much). So far, my attempts to contact MJ for Optio and K review sets have been rebuffed.
After hearing this description of the place, I now understand why. I know this outfit probably has little marketing moolah given these hard times, but at the moment I'd say they aren't doing the Pentax name any good at all.![]()
Come on, they are not even officially Pentax agent yetDon't think they even got one Pentax camera. Give them some time and see how.
If you wanna review Optio, I got a nice Optio S, the first Optio DC. You wanna review it? But it's a 6 year old camera, don't think anyone would be interested![]()
As to K, I've got more than 10 Pentax K film cameras all the way from KX/MX to the late MZ-6, don't mind passing you a K1000 or SuperProgram for a quick review :bsmilie:
Just kidding. Good luck w/ your reviews.
Your MZ-6 is here!:bsmilie:

Seriously, might actually take up that offer if we do a feature on old cameras. But that's probably something too far off our publication's focus for now...
how about a circa 1978 lens vs a current lens feature?Haha. Well, as a Pentaxian myself, I can('t) be impartial, now can I?

Looking forward to new agent and service centre soon.... I have to send my 3 problems - my K20d for cleaning dust in viewfinder, fixing my loose tilt of 540GZ flash and FA 50mm f1.4 problem.:cry:
CBD and parking at Peninsula are :thumbsd:
erm, sorry abit confused here. so if I want to send my cam for servicing (quite abit of dust got in), where do i go?
roughly any idea how much and how long for servicing?
Hi Woonsin
I don't think they will simply stop supporting now and ask you to wait till the handover is done. Why not just give Kelvin a call and see if he can help? I believe the support transfer should be seamless.![]()
Hi airconvert
Ok, I will ask my colleague to call for me. Mind if you have his contact no like office tel no? Thank you
