If you really want one, i can do it for you. Japanese Screen Protector(Not fakes or wannabes). Priced at SGD$4(Uncut), 3 layer protection. I custom cut it for my 450D. Comes in a 4.3" size piece, so have to custom cut to fit the whole 450D plastic frame. Fits well, and covers the whole screen, unlike the 3" screen protector. Let me know if you want one.

Teleconvertor.. you need a tripod collar for?
Is the 100mm more usable with the collar? haha:bsmilie:
I may consider too
oohh...teleconverter! dun have leh...who has can lend me? i'd like to try! tripod collar coz with ext tubes the lens very long...i tot my cheapo tripod cannot tahan. but surprisingly, it can sustain even if i use the 25mm extension. anyway the 3rd party collar not very good la, i kinda screwed it up oredi, the felt come out a bit liao. my tripod now power enuff i also dun really need it sia. dun intend to get the actual one.
If you use lenses that are long/heavy, the centre of gravity is no longer on the camera body what, so you will experience a lot more shake even on tripod, plus your mount might get damaged. Still, Canon's tripod collars are bloody expensive conjobs.
When will you be getting the 450D?![]()
This thread is insanely fast! ha.
Prob will try my luck at sitex to see if i can get a better deal there or not. I just realised that i need a dry cabinet to store the dslr and lens huh. Any recommendations of cheap and good ones? Looking at the smallest one 30L (?). Any recommended places for me to go get them?
Thanks![]()

hi guys long time no see
funny coz when i'm home it always give me the 'error page' when i try to come onto CS.. but in office it works just fine.. that's y past few days missed out so many things
over the weekend i went to the barrage to FINALLY try out my 17-55 proper... tried taking it at night but guess i need to have more training coz a lot of them came out quite blurthink really need to join u guys for some SSS soon.. and i should have brought a tripod.. just a question.. when u all take night portraits.. do u all use MF or AF? coz whenever i use AF.. my shots come out very OOF..
and i've seen some really beautiful shots of the moon here lately and i tried taking 1 myself using the 55-250 and a tripod.. but seriously have no idea.. i tried all kinds of settings but i always get a very bright light just beneath the moon and i have no idea why.. any bros got any good settings to share? or is it because the lens isn't capable enough?
anyway here are 2 of my better shots from the barrage
Definately need a tripod, mirror lockup, shutter release to do night shots, Usually manual focus, unless you want it to refocus when u press the shutter release. Havent tried taking the moon yet.![]()
