Anyone up for a free DIY hotshoe protector. It's made of foam. Cut nicely to fit your hotshoe. I'm experimenting with the size and thickness, will post a picture of it soon. If you guys want, i'll make some, and pass it over to you, during outings or something.

would like to get a 450D with a 18-200mm(most probably tamron)

Does the tamron 18-200mm comes with IS?

Tamron 18-200 or 18-250 don't have VC (Vibration Compensation). Only 18-270 which i think not in Singapore yet.

You may consider Sigma 18-200 OS (Optical Stabilizer) or Canon 18-200 IS...
But do note such zoom lens have lower Imagine Quality (IQ) compare to the rest, IMO lah...

me used to Panasonic FZ5..(super zoom)...
I know the IQ suffers...i am willing to forgo a bit of IQ for convenience..the max i print is 4R...

I would rather u think carefully of wat u gonna shoot lor.

I do have tammy 18-250mm

well, it is my all purposes lens but IQ wise not dat gd.

I would rather u get tammy 17-50 plus 55-250mm

can save some $$$..;)
