Hi everyone, I bought my first DSLR, 450D during the PC show. Still learning how to use it. :D I find that the 50mm lens (i got it free from the warranty), is not so easy to use. Got a long way to figure out how to use it. ;p

Welcome! nevermind most of us here are still learning can learn together. Best way to learn is to shoot alot :bsmilie:

EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

can give this a try, so far have seen good results from people that have this lens, IS is always good to have. Heard bad things about the 70 - 300mm ranges tho.:sweatsm:

Lai ah lai ah see what can a 450D on ISO 1600 on a L lens can do on Import nights xD on my flickr

After seeing those picture I feel like keeping it :O

any recommendation on 75-300mm or 55-250mm budget telephoto lens for 450d

was thinkin this few..

250+ range
EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM:
APO 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG MARCO
AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro

360+ range
EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM :
EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

was think e 250+ range.. cuz cheaper.. hahaa issit good?

I also consider to get a budget telephoto lens.
Was considering the same lenses also, however it seems like EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM is not having a good review. Maybe I will get the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS for the IS function. Sad to have tight budget lol

Do you use any NR for your ISO 1600 photos?
They look nice. The colour and exposure are very nice. :)
