Dear 450D owners. I have got one too. However, I lost the solutions Disk for the 450D. I need the EOS Utility from that disk to do some tethered shooting. Canon put only updates on the net; not the original program.
Would it be possible to zip that part of the disk and email it to me through a free-large-file-sender like www.yousendit.com? You can send up to 100 mb with Yousendit.com Please send it to: anna.cor(@)tiscali.nl (remove brackets...)

anyway IMO if need fast FPS, might as well get a 1D m2.

from 450 to 50... like not much difference... + a minute increase in FPS, metal body, extra LCD screen, more cross point AFs, 15mp (is too big, introduces lots of noise). sometimes i think my 12mp is too big too... i think 8/9/10mp is just nice...
IMO not worth the spending... (but if it upgrades to a better sensor like the D300's... then its worth it)

well but its your choice.
 

Hi everyone, I bought my first DSLR, 450D during the PC show. Still learning how to use it. :D I find that the 50mm lens (i got it free from the warranty), is not so easy to use. Got a long way to figure out how to use it. ;p
 

replaced my kit lens w tammy 17-50.f2.8 is good.but no IS.compared with17-55.lose out in some area like night shoot else still great and save money on IS

As i may need a macro for my upcoming proj in sch.i'm eyeing canon 100f2.8.can it be use for portrait?i have a crop body 400D.anyone mind to comment and show some macro,portrait shot with this lens on crop body like 450d or 40d?

there is a cheaper alternative to dedicated macro lens. Raynox DCR-250...
i've attached a link for u to read up and decide cheers...;)
 

thanks.i'm aware of that.but i want to know if the portrait of 100mm 2.8 is good too.cause i really love this macro but am not sure of its secondary ability.and looking for sample shots.anyone letting go can pm me.prefer have warranty.no defect
 

Today went on a 50D hunting spree.... all no stock. Wanna buy also cannot :(

any recommendation on 75-300mm or 55-250mm budget telephoto lens for 450d

was thinkin this few..

250+ range
EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM:
APO 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG MARCO
AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro

360+ range
EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM :
EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

was think e 250+ range.. cuz cheaper.. hahaa issit good?
