oh, been scouting and thinking of tripods today. so here they are my options..

specs put in a table to do comparison, if these are the 3 i'm considering, which would fit a >>

- lighter tripod
- my ht is abt 1.72m (ok, now its not a secret anymore)
- and say max weight to allow room for a mid-range dslr+grip+flash+some tele lenses say 70-200 (prob onli f4)

er, sorry its in chinese, got it off the benro's site. price ranges from $158 to about $180+.

Went to benphoto after picking up the 100-400 lens from CRC.

A300EX = $158

I think MS or OP liao. Haha!

A500EX is $188 at benphoto.

Seriously I really dun mind buying your A500EX if you are really selling. Haha!

Then I called my photography team leader. He said he can help me get for cheaper in China. Muhahaha, so I think I shall save save save and ask him to get it for me and it's Newswear not Safrotto.

2 things i can think of:
1. the subject is too close, meaning it is within the minimum focusing distance
2. camera cant focus lock on the subject as there is no contrasting lines / colours for it to focus. imagine trying to get a plain white wall in focus.

Minzhui, are you trying to "macro shoot" a subject? You can use a close up filter which minimize the focusing distance to the sensor.
