You may want to rent longer lenses ( > 250mm) from ClubSNAP rental if you intend to shoot birds, although if we get lucky we may be able to get a little closer to the birds.

1. RyuHendrabusa
2. NovJoe
3. Raylen

Hendra & Raylen, please check your PM for my contact number ;)

All of us got to Thanks vpsk01!!! He has offered to give all of us a ride to Sungei Buloh from Woodlands MRT! As his car can only hold 5 passangers max (incl driver himself), any others coming along will have to take the tibs bus to the place.

Man.

I not use to the push and pull zooming of 100-400. So irritating. I think if I pull too much force you will see me as a panda.

hey guy can i ask why is it that some time when i wanna shoot using the 55-250. the cam just keep zooming in and out but not shooting at all?
is it because the object i'm trying to shoot is too close or the lighting is not there?

2 things i can think of:
1. the subject is too close, meaning it is within the minimum focusing distance
2. camera cant focus lock on the subject as there is no contrasting lines / colours for it to focus. imagine trying to get a plain white wall in focus.

Btw, Jimmy.

Thank you for lending me your precious lenses. :)

SB or CB or whichever coffee on me. :)

july still some time away wor...
wats ur new setup like?

3 x 580EXII.

there is a trick to get use to this lens.
too much friction, u get mad. too loose u might have some difficulty in controlling the zooming. u can tighten the knob till u can feel the right friction for u to push and pull.

Precisely! ;) The knob's is next to the focus ring. ;)

- lighter tripod
- my ht is abt 1.72m (ok, now its not a secret anymore)
- and say max weight to allow room for a mid-range dslr+grip+flash+some tele lenses say 70-200 (prob onli f4)
