All the lenses are amazing. Can they AF or you have to MF? :think:

Apart from the original EF/EF-S mount, the rest will have to MF if they're of different mount (attached to the body using additional adapter).

So am I correct to say that if I get a EF Mount Adapter and attached to non-Canon lenses, I lose the AF? :think:

Yeah, AF will be lost. There are some which can provide AF confirm feature.

IIRC, I remember seeing an adaptor mount that can restore the AF. Hmm, but I forgot where I saw it. Haha! :bsmilie::bsmilie:
 

yup, all those are manual lenses :D

im so tempted to get at least one of those.

I see. Don't think that's possible though. Most probably focusing confirm feature, but AF, hard to say. :)

But leh, I still hoping for the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 ;p

Just to update a bit for the Sungei Buloh trip on rental of long lenses.

I have made reservation for 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM.

Currently, these lenses are also available for rental.


1. 300mm f4L IS USM
2. 300mm f2.8L USM
3. 300mm f2.8L IS USM
4. 70-200mm f2.8L USM + 1.4/2x Teleconverter
5. 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM + 1.4/2x Teleconverter


Please do let me know if any of you want to share cost to rent those lenses for the trip. More item on a single receipt will yield more discount.
