Hey guys, I intend to buy a 2X teleconverter. Is Kenko good? Called TK Foto and was quoted S$225. What do you guys think?

Must make sure whether your lens can support AF with that or not.
Some lens cannot AF with the use of 2x teleconverter, if i m not wrong.

As long as its 5.6 or wider for aperture (after using TC), its okay. For pro-series body, minimum allowed aperture is 8 if I remember correctly.

hmm. why dont you rent lenses to try and test test first? or go outings and ask who can lend lend u try? or, if you really have the spare cash, BUY! :bsmilie:

but caution on the red rubber band lenses hor (if you renting). its a no u-turn way after you've tried it. :p
