invest in a macro lens then.. try the 18-55 as your walkaround lens and see if there's any limitations..

a very diff question to reply.

Btw, you a MM hor...Cool:cool:

well, first of all wat ur budget?

Basically I would think if u shoot with ur kit lens till u go sian..

well, u can get a 50mm 1.8 for dat close up portrait shot and add a 55-250 for that Zooom..

like dat would do just fine for u.:)

Macro lens normally cost more....I wouldn't really recommend u to go for it...

Well, do join us for our outing...we can share share lens for u to play with..

Hi you might wanna try think tank skin products. My friend has them, and he justs dumps them into his normal bag, so maybe your can do the same, and dump your 450 into your girly working bag :)

Hi guys, I just got my 450D from MS colour today. New to this forum.

Hi Guys,

Looking to get my first dslr. Copletely new to Dslr. Was looking a Nikon D60 but was intro to 450d.

I am looking at an entry level dslr. Mostly for taking pics of my baby girl and general photos.

2 shops i went to said nikon produce better pics. But d60 does not have liveview.

So is this a good camera for entry level? Need your opinions. was quoted 1060.

Thanks!

Actually, camera brands doesn't really determine how good a photo turns out. Like, driving a ferrari doesn't makes me a capable driver.

Okay, let's get to the topic, i think 450D is a wonderful camera, all the functions a beginner would need. And D60 is quite an old camera.. So, 450D gets my vote. :D

So far so good. :) Perhaps u should get some hands on first before deciding. Always helps. :)

Tried it, Feels and looks good.

Thanks for your inputs.

Canon always has a place in my heart as they changed a new camera for me when my old one is spoilt and there was no warranty. In fact they gave me a newer model.

Thanks!

That was what I thot when I was also deciding on which model to get. Finally settled on the awesome 450D because

1. D60 has some limitations to some lenses (meaning not compatible to the body)
2. 450D can use all lens on the EF and EF-S range and not forgetting 3rd Parties too.
3. By choosing Canon, I can save some bucks on lenses as most of my frens are Canon Users.

450D

u'll drop that name if u go for the friday outing :bsmilie:
Wah! Black Mail sia...Tsk Tsk...i don't know if i'm coming tomorrow. I've no bag, to put all my gears in. Man.

Hm, what I meant was that if I just put it inside my bag without any protective casing, it will spoil? dunno if you get my drift. As asked previously, don't wanna bring the canon standard free bag cos it's bulky and it's funny to bring 2 bags to work. So, asking if there's any compact type of bags or any way other than using the canon standard free bag to store my camera safely in my bag without it being like damaged or anything. I mean, how do you usually bring your camera out when you're outside? Bring the standard free bag? =/

Just looking for an opinion to help...... TIA
I'm getting another bag for my camera, but in your case, well, you can put it in any bag. Get a dry towel, or bubble wraps and wrap it around your camera. It should do the trick.
