I'm planning to hold 2 guns. Using my D90 more for amature videography and shots.

GMAN

I still think 1000D fits you better than D90, or at least you're not gonna have a bigger hole in ya pocket for getting 1000D over D90. :bsmilie:

How big is the size of the insert? Was there at OP yesterday and forgotten to get 1 for my bag! :o

There are some photos posted a few pages ago. Maybe u can take a look? It is about 30cm by 13cm by 20cm.

Actually I've looked at your pictures and wanted to look at one while I was at OP. But was so into testing out lenses and in the end forgotten about it. :bsmilie:

The dimension looks good. ;)

bro, rather than we tell u, why not u tell us wat sort of shoot u prefer?

very diff for us to recommend....

and ur budget as well...

travelling as in walkabout or vacation-wise?
i would recommend the 50mm f1.8 lens. It has been my dream lens and it has never let me down since i bought it.
i recently just attended a wedding with that lens and there's still some keeper shots at the end of the day.

With its affordable price (100 -110), the lens is a must have. haha actually im a noob too, but the other lenses are pretty out of my budget range :(

Ain't there a buy sell section in Clubsnap? :bsmilie:

i too new in clubsnap... and i feel abit lost.. :(

No worries, everyone's new at the beginning.

I think you can settle for Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 (new piece). The price should be roughly about $600 odd for new ones if I'm not wrong.

You can check out the price listing in this forum. :)

:o

Then it should be enough to take scenery. :)

If you want something of longer range, you can consider this offer. It appears to be pretty much okay but subjective to individual's preference. ;)

If me.. i'll get 55-250IS and 50mm 1.8 and a tripod? still got left.. go makan..:)

i'm pretty much the same as you (same cam and lens).
i think 18mm is enough for landscape. worse come to worse can shoot paranoma ma.

what i'm eager to get is something that can go beyond 200mm. i'd missed a couple of nice shots due to the lack of reach. and cropping just kinda degrade your picture quality.

this sigma lens caught my attention.
APO 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG MARCO : (Yen62,000) - CP $325/ MS $320/ Digicam Peninsula $310/ AP Funan $330

the price maybe outdated though. interested to get together? :D
