finally, a 24-70 user in this thread!
initially, i thought that the 24-70 would be THE lens for me, but looking at the number of 24-105 users/want-ers all over the place (compared to the 24-70)... really had 2nd thoughts about this.
personally, i like the f2.8 cos i seem to be shooting in low/dim light most of the time, but everyone's saying the IS on the 24-105 more than makes up for it, then add an additional 35mm on the long end as gravy.
the numbers for 24-105 can't be wrong (can it?)
any advice/points u can give to confuse me further?

LOL...Since when was i the Chairperson? LOL!!!! I'm a lousy one. D90, is about 1.6k with the 18-105mm kit lens. I'm waiting to work first. Then i can pay for it. I've got to make my table bigger and get a bigger Dry cabinet.

:bsmilie: Originally went into OP as my friend wanted to get 50mm prime. In the end, I tested out Sigma 105mm f/2.8 and Tokina 100mm f/2.8. Finally settled for Tokina (really build like a tank).
Sigma's coating issue just turns me off.

got an ideas during our shoot...
i'm thinkin of either getting some flowers (cheap roses, if any...:bsmilie
or something small, then go ard n give to the chosen one n get their expression.Or like one photographer, he had done using a chalkboard, pass it to ppl n get them to write down their feelin n captured it...
