Okay folks, here you go. uploading was a real PITA. But i managed to get it up. Self explanatory on which ISO is which. Did a 2 minute job with the 17 TSE.No editing of any sort done. Just shot via manual mode and adjusted the shutter up and down accordingly as I decreased the ISO.

6D High ISO Raw files

I am super impressed with how well EOS utility works. Extremely smooth and I can really imagine the possibilities with the camera! Here's a quick try with an actual shot taken via iPad on the iPad itself!(You can see my finger on the ipad)

any ideal when KitII (24-70 F4) will be available?

Had a chance to play with the demo set + 24-105 lens at Click! during lunch time. It feels so small and light even though I know the weight difference from my 5D3 is just a 100gm plus. Not used to the button layouts though, quite different from the 5D3's. AF seemed very fast, but no way to really test the -3.0 EV capability in the shop. All in all, the force is strong with this one...very tempted but think will not succumb, for now. Thanks to Click! for the demo set!

After a break from photography for over three years, I chanced a friend's Facebook re-post on the 6D launch in Singapore. I visited CS and this thread and did some quick research, and made a quick enquiry to Click! via Facebook last night. After receiving a prompt Facebook reply to an enquiry I posted last night from Lynn, I headed down to Click! today to check out a new shop and new camera, with probably 25% serious intention to buy.

First on the shop and staff, very impressive. Modern design (similar to an Apple store), very spacious layout. The staff there are great, very helpful. Managed to try the 6D, 5DMk3 and EOS-M, along with a couple of lenses. This is something I have never experienced openly in other shops in the past, as they would be a bit apprehensive with you "over testing" the merchandise and not being a serious buyer. Customer service at the level I have not experienced before.

Now to the camera. Could not resist it after handling it for a while and playing around with a couple of my own lenses. This in addition to all the glowing reviews I had read overnight from the usual places sold me on the 6D. Have been waiting for an affordable full frame for the last few years, and I think this is going to be the game changer going forward at this size and price. When Click! said it was their last body-only set, I knew I had to get it (am going overseas on vacation soon). If I had no Canon lenses or upgrading from non-L lenses, I would probably wait for the 24-70 f/4L IS kit, as the cost for the lens there is really cheap (compared to buying the lens alone). Even the price of the 24-105 f/4L IS with the kit is also really cheap, relatively speaking.

Many thanks to Clarence and Bryan who spent time entertaining me. You guys made a 25% buyer into 100% (or maybe it was just the superior product ;p), the ability to play around with the product really helped. One thing nice for the future would be to absorb the credit card surcharge, as I headed over to Cathay and my usual guy quoted me the same price but can pay with credit card and no surcharge (Cathay have same cash/card pricing). But this is just nit-picking, because the customer service at Click! has no competition.

Tested the 6D with 50 f/1.4 in Canon showroom at Vivocity. Nice and fast performance from the peripheral AF points.

must loon from the attack of the BBB bug :)
