Depends on thread size. You can look at the price list in the consumers corner. they are circular, hence the name.

I don't think so. Look at the D800/E and 5D Mark III, they are pretty stable for the last couple of months and easily available.

I'm thinking of not getting the 24-105 kit but opt for 35L f/1.4 or 24-70L Mark 1 (Mark 2 is too expensive). You guys know how much the 35L is? I think 24-70 Mark is out of stock for the moment coz Canon want to push the sale of their Mark 2.

yeah I was just hoping if any shop is still selling the Mark 1, but not. haha. Will check for the 6D + 35L combo coz I heard that the 24-105 will break down in about 6 months or so. Last time I used to use a 24-105L with broken zoom.

the kit price quite attractive. Overall just pay $880-900, can own a 24-105mm, L len some more.
think this will be the cheapest one to get a Canon L len.

Yeah but I heard the 24-105 always has the error code 1 a.k.a can't auto focus. 2 years ago I got the same problem from the 24-105L that comes with 5DMk2. Not sure if Canon fixed in the new batch of 24-105.
