err.. not sure ... but from dpreview the jpeg is bad.. seems that this is worse than mk2 .. but of course it has many features better than mk2 ..

What are you talking about? How can DPReview post any jpeg when there isn't a single production 6D in the world?

Obviously a Nikon troll, judging by your post history. Some moderator ought to put a ban on you for intentional posting of baiting rubbish.

Canon's trying to squeeze as much 7D and 5d mkiii sales out of the potential 6D buyers who can't wait. That's my guess...

Delay of 6D just made me go and order the GP-E1 module from BHPhoto.:(

I'd totally get that as a compact FF DSLR backup if it shipped before December.

i didn't talk rubbish.. Kiwira is saying "its a mark 2 head with a mark 3 shell" so i comment that 5dmk3 is not really a 5dmk2 with a mk3 shell, bcos mk3 jpeg is bad accoridng to dpreview... i am using Canon btw, although i am contenplating switching to nikon..

Sorry, sounded like you were talking about 6D jpeg.

In any case, 6D sensor is supposedly quite different than anything from Canon so far. We'll see....

BTW, you may want to read more about what real users are saying about D600 AF sensor.

Any idea when is it coming to our shores ? :dunno::think:

It's a good sensor as long as it's clean.

That too... :D

While you are referring to the dust problem on the imaging sensor, I am actually talking about the consistency and low-light ability of the AF sensor.

Ooops... we shouldn't be bad-mouthing about other brand products... :bsmilie: I trust clubsnappers can easily look up info in other forums by themselves...

hi

np brother :)

ya i am waiting for dpreview review on 6d.. to see what they have to say..

nikon D600 small AF points coverage is disapointing. but i think this is why it is lower priced..

heard 6D af points coverage is the same size as d600.

but nikon must solve the dust issue... else who wan to keep cleaning sensor?? i have used my 500d for 3 years and never did i clean the sensor once

i think it is important for us consumers to know what is bad about a product before we commit our $$$... pls dun feel shy to say anyting bad as long as it is a fact.. it helps others to decide

the good must be said of course..

:)

Well, I have to say there are also plenty of other Nikon models out there without that dust issue. ;-)

Dont dream too much guys.

6D image quality will not be better 5dmk3. Be it intentionally or what.

The interview with canon product manager at cameralabs.com has already mentioned that they will not let 6D jeopardize 5dm3.

I think so too, some people here are hoping for too much. ;) If Canon had magically a new sensor design and a new fab for producing it I guess we would see it first in either a high-end full-frame model or at least in a high-end APS model.

I've been let down by Canon too many times to even dare dream for something stupendous.

On the other hand, Canon is ultimately a Japanese company and everyone knows how tightly they hold their knowledge close to their chests. The CameraLabs interview is in Europe. I honestly doubt the European manager knows what actually goes on in Canon Japan HQ.

As for 6D jeopardizing 5D3... well, they have already removed the 61 AF points sensor from the 5D3 and replaced it with a 9 point sensor. That kind of crippling is sufficient to prevent the 6D from jeopardizing the 5D3. On the other, the 6D AF sensor has a single cross sensor which goes down all the way to -3 eV sensitivity, beating every single camera out there. So... it is more complex than we think. :D
