My guess is the street price is likely to be S$3499 with kit lens.

It's already US$2899 for the 24-105 kit lens set on B&H. That's about S$3600 before GST. So I don't think the 24-70 kit lens set at S$3499 is likely...

Why not? The new lens is 35mm shorter in focal length

Ok, 3.8k seems more like it but seriously at this price, I will get a 5D3 + pancake.

err.. not sure ... but from dpreview the jpeg is bad.. seems that this is worse than mk2 .. but of course it has many features better than mk2 ..
