I also would like to pick up a Sigma 12-24 Type II but prices in Singapore seem to be quite high. Hong Kong or New York appear to be the better places for that.

With that price assuming its USD/CAD it still translate to about SGD~4300.

i think it is because nikon has managed to release some d800 units in the US market.......honestly, i am waiting for nikon to release its d800s in SG. hopefull 5d3 will drop price below 3500
