nopey. totally nothing. no network computers online, no nothing.:(

then mabbe check you resident programs... could be something eating your processing cycles.:dunno:

No networked comps online... do you use wireless?

but ur b network up to 11Mbps, how can u get only 5800kbps?

802.11B networks have a maximum THEORETICAL speed of 11mbits /sec. In real life its normally only 1/2 that speed. I was only getting about 3.8mbps on wireless but 5.8mbps with the 100mbps Ethernet cable. The bottle neck is clearly from the wireless net work.

I am on the 6mb plan BTW.

perhaps you have to play around with the channel settings. the slow bandwidth may be due to co-channel interference and poor signal strength. getting only 3.8Mbps out of the theoretical 11Mbps is really poor performance

Still no good. :(

Not too sure.. I am the only one on my channel. My signal strength is at -46db with no detecable noise.. ah well.. I dont need that kind of bandwidth now anyway. Will problably get a new router sometime next year..
