i tried reset my modem but the speed stays the same, until i connect my modem directly to my PC (without router), reset modem and get new IP.

finally now i am upgraded to "MOL12000", even i put back the router

can ask what you using? i using motorola SBG1000i(the free router i got years ago). wondering if my speed is limited by my router. it is quite old already.

you need to completely switch off the power, i.e, the imcoming power from wall outlet, of the modem/router and wait for a few minutes before switching back on..

the supplied motorola modem (balck one) and linksys router. I dun tink hardware is any limitation issue.
