Seewhy, isn't it always great to visit the local fish market? The hammers could be by-catch because I tried Shark steak before and it wasn't that great. Furthermore, the fins were still intact.

you are just not familiar with the lower end set up that you have only used once but definitely :thumbsup: with your s2pro and flim photos that i had seen ;p

I am interested in the camera and housing. Never mind what catalogue number as long as the camera can fit into the housing and works. Price-wise I have no idea. Don't even know how much C5050 and housing initially cost.

It sure is nice to visit the local market. See more veriaty than scuba diving, and the hammerhead selling for dirt cheap price. :cry: Twice at Sipadan, did not see any HH and both time baby HH available at the Tawau market.

I do think that it is a by-catch. Does not make economic sense to target a fish for just RM1 each. Maybe these are just baby and the 'fiberous tissue' in the fins are not fully form yet so no point harvesting the fins. Just my thought. Anyway it is very tedious to prepare the shark fin from raw to the streak form you see in shop. Maybe I should ask them when I have a chance to visit Tawau again.

a 2nd d70 may not be so expensive, but it is still more than twice a brand new f810 ma. cannot combine the housing price with the camera price of f810 and compare with the price of a 2nd d70 at most with a kit lens. add up ikelite housing, ports, more lenses... thats quite a lot of difference lo.

and some more, if seewhy wanna continue utilising his present strobe, it would look pretty weird on a d70 setup of course, depending if he wants a total revamp la.

i noticed that the flash for this camera is "pop-up" feature..
and theres no hotshoe connection for this camera...

so u can only enjoy STTL with inon z220/d2000 with fibre optics.. or use it with ikelite strobe w DS sensor or manual controller.. ;p

Ya. the price for D70 + housing and F810+housing have a lot of different leh. Tomorrow 4D have not open yet and need to buy more than $1 then can afford.

Also hope to stick with the present strobe first. Cannot afford everything in 1 go.
