Yesterday i bought 24-105mm from MS at $1530 cash... tried to bargain but they insist cannot.

Used to cost about $150-200 more!

Don't think grey market prices have reduced much. If any, it is to make it slightly more competitive with local prices. Anyone has grey market prices to update us?

Canon list price now is $1,699
Street price should be about $1,300-1,350.
Not 25% less than old price, but 20-25% off OFFICIAL Canon PRICE LIST.

Just visited MS colour and found out that the lens EF135mm f/2 is going for S$1160, which is below the local private importer's price of S$1200, WOW

Will buy this lens on my next pay day...Hehe.

Recently discounts is making us very happy, but not those importers from HK.

I called Cathay and here's the prices that I got from them:

EF100mm F2 USM - $800
EF 135mm F2L USM - $1200
EF 85mm F1.8 USM - $515 <-- I ended up getting this but am saving for the 135L
EF 28mm F1.8 USM - $840

Speedlite 580EX II - $720
Speedlite 430EX II - $430

Sigma 30mm F1.4 for Canon EOS mount - $750
Sigma 10mm-20mm F4-5.6 - $850

I reckon it should be going for about $1,850, i.e. about $150-200 cheaper than old price or about 23% off the Official List Price.

85 F1.8's price looks gd. Maybe buying this lens at the end of the year. But flashes' price didnt drop.
