Thanks to you, bro, if not for your words back then I would have given up photography. You are the one that asked me to clinch onto what I believe is right. I really have to thank you for that. Ha ha ha ha. I still remember those days when you were air-brushing your portraits which usually took hours to complete...

My lighting setup:

• Nikon Creative Lighting System
• 1 x SB-800 mounted on-camera act as wireless commander and as fill light
• 1 x SB-600 with umbrella mounted
• 1 x SB-600 with no diffusion
• 2 x light stands to mount the flashes

What you did was firing your flash directly at the face of your subject. It is like shining your torchlight onto a piece of design paper at right angles. What you see is only the design pattern but not the dimensional texture of the design. Move your lights to the side and experiment.

You happened to bring all that equipment to a casual christmas dinner?? You must be the Hulk, anyway on a more serious note, the lighting is indeed interesting and I concur with DP's rant on the outbreak of Santarinas these days.

Haha, no la, I just haven't posted on CS for sometime, still log in occasionally to see what's popping around. I'm alright, still surviving. I finally upgraded my equipment though.

Anyway you owe it to yourself that you are able to to deliver consistently good quality photos, you still possess that passion and drive when we first talked years back. See where's that taken you now! Time for you to upgrade already!

As for catching up, i also did a bit of catch up with maverick, silver.wolf and darrel recently as well. When are you due back? Buzz me on msn when you are back so we can arrange for kopi again.Merry X'mas!!

Be creative. Try things that others would think are rubbish. You'll never know what you can come out with. Good luck on your tries.

Because I just finished an assignment mah and Ploy called so went to meet her for dinner lah. I have to bring all my stuffs with me right? Cannot just throw everything down right?
