I just called. Stock never came in leh

This lens gives the panny 20mm a run for its money and competes in a different focal length. Will definitely be popular. :)

Now, have completed the prime lens collection for m4/3...time to go shooting!!

Just picked up mine from SLR after they called to inform me at 2pm. Sharp, small and light. Its the last piece though. :D

i also called up Parisilk, stock supposed to come in this afternoon.
they will call me if the stock comes in. but called them again about 30mins ago, was told stock will be in tomorrow.
just hafta wait for their call again.

Was wondering if 45mm is a bit tight?

I usually love taking pictures of my food on the dining table so not sure do I have to stand up & step back to shoot?

Any kind bros who got the lens can share? :)

Like what cannedpineapples said, depends on what you want, if say you just want to show closeup of say... ice cream, then 45mm might do the trick, you want to show your entire buffet, have to stand up, step back and shoot, sometimes place cramp, stand up also no use

Also the closest focusing distance is 0.5m. which means you gotta be half an arms length back to take the food. May be hard to take pictures of your own bowl of noodles without getting up (for example).

Easy, zoom in with your kit lens to the max and see if that focal length suits u.

kit lens 42mm..this one have extra 3mm...but it's a good way to test out..lol

3mm at telephoto makes not much difference.

Thank you so much fellow bros. U guys r helpful. Appreciated. :)

Usually I like to shoot my own plate of food. For eg. My steak or noodles.

In fact I hv the panny 20mm but upon seeing this lens I'm damn tempted.

Bokeh wise which perform better?
