Can pm me the price too?
I've been aiming this since 3 months ago lol

We can call up the shops and they will give us the price isnt it?

actually why so secretive about the price from Cathay, it is $428.
For the benefits of those who have not get your set. Here is the finding i have. Feel free to update this price too.

MSC: $440 (Cash), $450 (CC/NETS)
TK: $448 (info from bro here, see page 3)
Cathay: $428 (equote) , $450 (walk in)
SLRR: $410 (quoted from call yesterday noon, but they say no stock)

FYI: I bought from MSC yesterday afternoon at $440 as nearer to my house, too lazy to go Cathay.

I think many here subscribe to the belief that 'Knowledge is Power' and like the feeling they get when others 'beg' them to reveal where they got their gears at the special low, low prices. ;)

Just bought from Msc as tk no stock 440. First impression is that the lens is so small!

Anyone has an update on the 25mm f1.4 pana - leica pricing? Am considering between the above with the oly 45mm.

Btw. Tk ark quoted me $440. But no stock. So previous price of $448 seems to have dropped. But no stock, they can quote $2 also cannot buy :(

some shops always have the habit to quote very low, but forever no stock.
I guess msc and tk selling 440 is a good buy too, Cathay at 428 but must wait for them to reply email and the list of people waiting is long.

I think for such high demand item, whoever calls these shops will get the same pricing. Even super regular customers also dun enjoy discounts, only probably free basic uv filter and get to buy it faster than others. Cos these lenses sell by itself, no need introduction or sales talk, if you dun buy, someone else will.

So pricing is open to all.

BTW, i keep seeing people asking for PM and email and equote etc, isn't it faster to get the information by calling them? Its instant information imo. Old school method of using the phone is still the best method.

i saw this picture from Ouverture.

anyone knows apart from the usual unbranded non multicoated 37mm uv filters and the B+W super expensive filters, are there any other 37mm filters that come in silver and is properly multicoated?

I checked for Hoya and Kenko and there doesnt seem to be multicoated 37mm filters in silver

I able to get my one this morning at cathay photo at 445. :D enjoying it to the max!

has not got the pleasure to molest this lens. besides of nice bokeh, i am curious whether the optical quality (sharpness, resolution, contrast handling, color reproduction) are as good/better/below panny 20mm f1.7. anyone has opinion to share ?

Had time to only try a few shots, but the AF is faster than the 20.. I didn't pixel peep but sharpness as good as the 20 .
