I wish it was.... should look at the Polic face...... at first thought I bluff her... later she realised it is true, very nice and try to help... told her colleague who issue 3 million one not to book me becuase of what happen.... :embrass: ......... later my bro came to my rescue... not before kena F left right and center..... :sweatsm: ........

Okie, going to changi broadwalk with my d70s and 12-24mm.... don't think want to take tripod.... can boh?? or I go get a monopod??.... Need flash??.... taking scenery shot.....

Few more questions..... thank you........
1. D70s body, 50mm len, 12-24mm lens, 105mm micro, sb800 flash, a 70-200 or 80-200 zoom, 60litre Dry Box enough boh??
2. this 70 or 80 to 200mm zoom, no $$ to buy Nikon liao, which 3rd party come close??... a a) sigma 70-200 f/2.8 EX DG HSM, b) Tokina AF 80-200mm f/2.8 AT X 828 AF Pro or c) Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM??? :dunno:
Sorry din get back to you sooner. I haven't been to Changi broadwalk, so I dunno what's there. :)

If can afford get a bigger dry cabi. So that upgrade eqpt don't need to upgrade cabinet.

I don't have good impression of 3rd party lenses except Sigma. Then again, I am only using their wide angle, don't know about their tele though. I used to have a Tokina one touch 80-200/2.8, later sold it and got the Nikon one-touch AF 80-200/2.8 instead, the quality is worlds apart.

No lah.. because Nikon is traditionally a lens maker. In the early days, they were making lenses for Canon, until Canon decided to make their own lenses, Nikon started to do their own bodies. So optics wise, they are much better than Canon. Nikon is the world leading manufacturer for semiconductor submicron lithographic equipment. :)

really envy you buying everything at one go =(. anyway i'm still sticking with the basic kit setup first and learn more before i make any move.

*i'm not trying to push up me post counts too* ;p

I think that's why I jump from 300d to a Nikon D70s.... ;) ....

I was shooting macro with the canon 300d (that time, don't have an entry level Nikon DSLR yet) and did not like the result a bit...... i know my skill play a part and I got a long way to go, but when I was using a nikon slr shooting macro, it wasn't that bad..... so now that I am back to the dark side, I decide to go back to nikon........ and now, I got better image (although still way off the standard that the bro here can produce) ........ No regrets going back to Nikon..........

And ya bro espn, your MTL, BBBBBB...... if you see this thread.... I looking for tripod lar.... I know you will ask me to search lar, but at least give some guide........... I am ready to BBBBB a good tripod that can last me a long long long time, maybe next time can pass to my son type..... heeeee.......... but it must be light lar........... budget around S$300-500 can get boh???

Anyway some info on what I have and what I intend to get later.............. have: N70s body, 50mm, sb800, 12-24mm, 105mm........ going to have(hopefully): 70-200, 180mm, 85mm, 17-35mm something like that, R1 flash unit....

Wow... N70S...

Think about it, can you use flash on landscape?

As for macro, what's the purpose of the flash?
