I think we are going to do quite a bit of walking... What lens are you guys bringing?

I would just like to bring 1 lens for all and leave the rest at home. Is 70-200 and 17-40 good enuff? It is soo heavy bringing all and the tripod somemore. 5-6 hrs of lugging ard... :sweat:

i think im bringing the 17-40 and 70-200 too..but gotta lug a tripod around too since have to shoot fireworks at night.. =/

Tripod , af-s 80-200 , af-s 18-70 , D70s + 2 batt , sb-800 + 5 batt ... etc very heavy for me but i shall sacrifice my energy level for interesting photos . feeling extreamly bad mood now wonder do i still have the mood to shoot tomorrow

Mine is Stealth Reporter 200 AW, used it previously for my FZ20.
Now put D50 and extra lens, SB600, extra batteries, basic cleaning kit,
seem abit small and pack..:sweat:

I'll be at Marina tomoro from 9 onwards, primarily taking the military part of the carnival. I'm also intending to take the fireworks, and would like to join u guys. I've already PM 300N.

I still have your number, so will position check with u after the last military performance at 6pm. Might be easier to meet up at the fireworks location.

I've also bought an E300 last week, so will be using that instead of the 5050 the last time we met.

Many camera shops have not any stock of RS-80N3(canon 20d) when I called them up. One said many people bought because of NDP, firework, etc.

We had a great day out. Autobabes were gorgeous. I am sure a lot of you are going to feel the pain on your shoulder after shooting with those heavy lenses for hours. The pretty babes never shopped coming. I havent downloaded my pics yet, but I am sure all of us got some delicious pictures. :bigeyes:

Shooting fireworks was a bit messy. We were not sure of the position of the fireworks. Had to adjust at the last moment. Still some good results to show.

I will be going out of country for a few days, will catch you guys later. Thanks to Thomas aka 300n for organising and everyone for participating. :thumbsup:

just went tru my work today , quite happy although my dear trinity was sick ( fungus infected ) ... cant really push her too much as she did her best job for me already now waiting to get her go operation , not to mention my friends SB800 5th battery got heated up in the middle of the shoot .... Guys pls post all yr work for today here as mention by our TL (team leader) thomas aka 300N , will post my asap once i finish sorting out and resize for web viewing
