So far I've asked Alan Photo in Funan, new branch, they're offering $1620 for the kit! I bought mine at $1850 in Sept. Is ok... btw for body, there's no int warranty. Int warrantly are only for lens and flash. Hence when you buy an equipment, check out the card, make sure the country printed on the card matches the shop stamp otherwise its void. Just some info..

I think Sitex show will offer around $2000+- with some freebies like 1 GB CF card, camera bag and tripod.

Usually, Sitex will sell at the list price shown in the Nikon website... and it is still $2288... Hope that Nikon will change it SOOOOOON! Otherwise, they will need to give 2 GB CF, Tripod, case, dry cabinet, tripod, jacket, air purifier, rice cooker... :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

its really a nice camera... the 1 gb lexar can take at least 522 pictures with M size setting..

hope i got a good deal... i hope sitex wont disappoint me... by giving a big price slash. :cry: :dunno: :think:

Based on the price of $1680... add in the other stuff and extended warranty by the shop for another 2 years... and with 3 "free" months of installment.... it was about there... So i bought it... Now paying by installment.... And eat grass/air/whatever for the next 3 years... ahahahah

But I can now go and TAKE TAKE TAKE shots with it.....

(Think most will be able to figure out where I got it from.....)
