imo , it was the poor design of the detention facility that allowed msk to escape, the guards were only one of the factors, the isd escort also didn't follow procedure and was a bit slow. Anyways we OT already .

Anyway prevention is always better, avoiding route you are unsure of.
What is few minutes wasted if you get back safely, compare to never getting there.
Make a big detour if one is unsure.

Also I never try stunts that endanger myself, for instance a particular shot that I thinks give me a better composition endanger myself or my equipment. I am just a hobby photographer, and not paid.

if they wanted the cam, they would have snatch it already.

It's not an expensive camera. It's a DSLR in a country where everyone and their grandmother seems to have one nowadays.
