Disappointed at the result. But I think a draw was a fair result for both teams who put in 100% for the whole game.
Arsenal showed class and true sportsmanship, returning the ball to Liverpool whenever the game was stopped due to injury to their players. (Nice to hear Anfield applauding the team when that happens).
And the team didnt give up even though they conceded an early goal, they kept on trying and going at Liverpool.
One negative I can think of is Eboude (??) who made a meal of the elbow by Carragher. Yes it was an elbow but I think its only slight contact. He should have got on with the game like a real pro.
Next up, Manu! :angry:

I know lah.. but honestly, I think he made a meal outta it and unfortunately he is starting to get a bad reputation... which is not nice lah. 
It was embarressing really. Maybe I watch the highlights again tonite and see if its that serious ;p
Oh yeah, Carragher sibei heng, pull Fab shirt in penalty area... confirm penalty! But somehow we didnt get one. Anyway no point dwelling in the past. Manu is up!

I think Arsenal deserved all three points based on their gutsy, attacking football. Their movement and speed over 90 minutes is awesome and literally wears teams down and they always looked like getting the equaliser as the game went on. Shame Cesc's bending shot hit the post and Bendtner couldn't put in the re-bound.
For me, Eboue was our weakest player. Full of running but looked short of ideas when it came to the final ball. Surprised Theo didn't get a the whole of the second half given Eboue's first half performance.
Toure was immense again and Hleb continues to impress. Great game of football and bring on Moanchester at the Emirates!

Arsenal are still unbeaten, and back on top of the Premier League if only on goals scored but if there were points for artistic merit, then this trophy might well have been theirs by Christmas. Witness the ball played by Alexander Hleb for Cesc Fabregas's equaliser for evidence that the game being played by Arsène Wenger's team is often one with which the rest of this league are just not familiar.
It was to Liverpool's credit that they hauled themselves back into a game that they led from the fifth minute to the 79th but in which for long periods of the first half were simply bystanders to Arsenal's passing. Hleb and Fabregas made it look beautiful, Steven Gerrard, scorer of his side's goal, dragged his team back into it. Wenger's side were the artists, Rafael Benitez's the workers, which is not how Liverpool would want it.
The standards that Wenger sets for his young players are, as Theo Walcott will already know, exacting to say the least. Yesterday the 18-year-old was reminded just how much a player has to do to claim a regular place in his manager's first XI. Two goals against Slavia Prague in the 7-0 win on Tuesday were only enough to earn him a place on the bench at Anfield. That is rotation at its most brutal.
Less rotation from Benitez, just more puzzles: he picked Dirk Kuyt and Andriy Voronin to play either side of Fernando Torres in a forward line of three. Neither Kuyt or Voronin are renowned as wingers, certainly not in the same way as Ryan Babel and Yossi Benayoun both on the bench. Voronin can count himself lucky to be in the side after a woeful performance against Besiktas last week. His manager seems to see something in him that is less obvious to the rest of us.
Having been left out of five Premier League squads by Benitez already this season, Peter Crouch could be forgiven for thinking a place on the substitutes' bench yesterday was a blessing. When he considers he scored a hat-trick against Arsenal in this fixture last season he is entitled to be as baffled as anyone by his manager's attitude towards him.
Voronin began by getting himself booked for a dreadfully late tackle on Fabregas and spent much of the first half labouring to get free of the Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna, surely a meeting of two of the worst haircuts currently in the Premier League. Liverpool took an early lead, but that hardly reflected the game's ebb and flow.
A goal down, Arsenal dominated completely. Better passes, more intelligent movement, all done at a far greater speed than Liverpool. Benitez's master plan was not bearing fruit but then he does always have Steven Gerrard. So many times the Liverpool captain has proved his manager's get-out-of-jail card and the goal he came up with on seven minutes was particularly welcome for Benitez.
Gerrard had already seen one shot saved when Fabregas gave away a free-kick on the edge of the area with a late tackle on Xabi Alonso. Kuyt rolled the ball to Gerrard and he struck a low shot that the Arsenal wall unforgivably allowed to slip through their legs and beat Manuel Almunia at his right post.
From then on and especially for the next 15 minutes Wenger's side played the kind of football that Anfield would love their own team to play. You knew that from the little gasps and stifled murmurs of admiration among the Liverpool fans when another Arsenal passing sequence clicked into gear. It was slick stuff and beautifully controlled.
The weak link among the Arsenal team in the first half was Emmanuel Adebayor, whose touch seemed clunky and unsubtle compared to that of his team mates. A move that stretched from right to left from Emmanuel Eboué to Fabregas found Adebayor in the left channel, but his first touch was bad and Pepe Reina was able to block his shot.
You were left wondering what Torres would have done at the point of this Arsenal attack rather more than he did for Liverpool, for whom he looked distinctly nonplussed. What looked like a thigh injury appeared to be affecting him late in the first half, although there was a palpable sense of frustration at the young Spanish international when he sat obstinately on the turf in the later stages.
Gerrard clawed back some respectability for his side in the later stages of the first half. He struck a shot that drew a brilliant save out of Almunia in the 28th minute, while there was a suggestion of handball from Sagna in the box in the melee that preceded the chance.
Later there was a collision between Eboué and Jamie Carragher in the Arsenal box which ended with the former pole-axed. Some of the Arsenal players suggested to Carragher he had elbowed Eboué deliberately and Carragher told them in no uncertain terms that he had not.
Crouch was stripped and ready to play before the half-time whistle but never got his chance to replace the sulky Torres until the start of the second half. That was not all that was different about Liverpool, who buzzed about their opponents a lot more purposefully than before.
Crouch lashed in a low shot on 51 minutes that Almunia had to push away. In the first half, the Arsenal support had mocked every long, desperate clearance into nowhere from Liverpool that contrasted sharply with their own side's intricate moves. There was less of that in the second half as Liverpool gained momentum. Voronin played in Crouch for a shot that was just wide and then the Ukrainian was replaced by Benayoun, a genuine winger.
The brilliance, however, came from Hleb, who never wasted the ball all game and picked the perfect pass on 80 minutes. He threaded the ball through to Fabregas, who ran on to poke his 10th goal of the season past Reina at his near post. It was no less than they deserved.
Both Eboué and Fabregas also struck the post in the second half. Jamie Carragher was gloriously resilient. It was the best that Liverpool could muster in the end.
