Any Ricoh GX100 user out there?

Hi can I check for advice. Which is a better buy/camera - gX 100, Leica Dlux 3, LX 2?

Thanks. Need a compact camera for easy to reach shoots instead of lugging the DSLR around.

You may wish to check this thread and this thread over at dpreview.com as it is discussing the same issue you are facing.

These threads may give you a rough idea of the cameras but you will need to handle them physically and take a few shots to make the best choice.

Should work on manual, but will look wierd (big flash on small cam) .

Do you guys find the GX-100 noisy when taking shots? I find mine kept producing low, short screeching sound when taking shots. Just want to check if this is normal.

It will look even funnier when you set the camera on a large tripod.

Yes, mine also feels that way. The HA-2 adapter tube is also not very secure.

You will only be able to fit the 43mm polariser after attaching the HA-2 adaptor tube which is sold seperately. If you attach the wide conversion lens, you will not be able to screw in any filter because there is no thread in the conversion lens. eawtan has come up with a DIY filter holder which uses the 77mm filters.
