Any reports on the P5100 image quality ?

If only this camera had RAW and Wide Angel lens, waiting to replace my coolpix 5400

Nikon P50 , no reviews yet, this has less manual control, no raw but comes with wide angel lens.

I really liked the FZ18 from Panasonic, it has everything you can ask for in a camera, too bad the image quality seems to be an issue.

What spec are you after :dunno:

The 5400 didn't have RAW did it ?

The FZ18 has 18x zoom

Do you want 18x zoom/small/RAW ?

1. I got my black leather case from Alan Photo for S$18.00, although there is a metal ring at back of the case, seemingly for a wrist sling. the pouch did not come with any sling loh. U guys also the same?

2. Pix noise level, yup i saw e pix posted with various ISO setting, but it seem that Fuji F30 produce better indoor pix without flash (nikon fans pls don be offened) than the P5100. again, wat u guys think? i recently switched from F20 to P5100.

it is not an issue with me as there is always the great nikon flash system and the VR with lower ISO speed setting

I bought a Lowepro Apex 30AW case with my P5100

A snug fit

I prefer Lowepro and it's all weather ability.

I just brought a black leather case with the nikon emboss on the fround and the metal ring at the back too for $20. apprently it is true, nikon only provide the case with the camera and dealers is not suppose to sell it. haha

Overall seem like a pretty neat case for P5100. How ever i do find the megnet rather weak.

Yes this is the correct case for the P5100, I got mine as well. The silver pouch really cannot make it lah.

They've got the specs wrong too. The P5100 internal memory shd be 52mb instead of 21mb as quoted in Nikon Sg website.
