I am waiting for two new 35mm f.1.4 lenses - one is this Nikon 35mm f1.4G AFS and the other one is Leica 35mm f1.4 Asph FLE. LOL![]()
Latest news from my Malaysia friend is that its street price is around RM4900, which is equivalent to SGD2058 based on the exchange rate 2.38. Will go to check it out when I go Malaysia one day.

I've seen online images taken with the 35 1.4ASPH leica.. it's awesome..
just wondering how close the nikon's 35 1.4 can perform as compared to the legendary leica.
do give us a comparison when u got ur hands on 1![]()
I will make sure that James hold a copy for you. LOLWhoa, the price looks good.. will be very happy if the price falls under 2.3K in SG. BBB~!!!!
Have checked again that Malaysia has already started selling at RM4850. Those don't mind buying without local warranty can go Malaysia and buy
Btw, what is Nikon Singapore doing? Trying to hold the stock and gauge what the max price can sell to Singaporeans? Singapore is a world class city but the people here are not carrot cake.

wow wonder if JB shops stock it already..
maybe can ask my friend check out when he go over next week..
tempting man.. about 2k+ SGD converted.. pretty reasonable.
I have compared with the Nikon 24 f/1.4 and the Leica 24mm f/1.4, the Nikon has proven to be quite stellar. The Leica is just amazing at the corners and has very low distortion. So, I'm presuming the Nikon 35mm f/1.4 will perform just as well.
they too busy fixing d7000 maybe? haha
Oh sh*t, hopefully not because of this reason, otherwise we have to wait longer.
