For those who purchased the CS3 at the roadshow in your school, are you issued a proper invoice or receipt?
I was simply issued a written receipt (with no company name or whatsoever). It is the type of receipt which is available in bookstores.
Even though i have sent my request for upgrade, Adobe won't process my request until i've emailed them my invoice/receipt.
Anyone with the same issue here? :dunno:

You should give them a call and see whether NUS/NTU is eligible. Maybe the two unis are under a different distributor/licensing scheme?
by the way, what are the difference between educational and commercial version?

just one final point... apparently, CS4 is implementing a new metadata system that generates a unique ID for each file... that might mean your image may be traceable to a particular install of Photoshop (speculation on my part)... read into that what you may...

would a separate DVD be issued? where i can install a clean copy of CS4
or it will be a unclean install CS4 by upgrade online from the installed CS3?

I guess the offer will expire when stocks of CS3 have been replaced by the availibility of CS4... that's what happened when CS2 transitioned to CS3...
if the process is the same as the CS2-CS3 transition, and I don't see any indication so far that it will be different, there is a form that one has to fill in, fax to Adobe (any change in submission method, anyone who has done it already?), and after Adobe has done processing, and when the product is available, Adobe will courier the item to you... it will be an upgrade product, which merely means that you need to have a previous license of the previous product ... you should be able to do a clean install rather than having to build on the previous product... but like I mentioned, this is the experience from the CS3 upgrade program as obviously the CS4 upgrade program has not gone to the delivery stage yet

I did receive my previous upgrade (CS2 to CS3) at about the time the new product (Production Premium CS3, which was later than the other packages) reach the shelf, so its not too slow
if you're in a hurry, can always give them a call to ask ;p
so good? when did you submit your invoice and upgrade form?
FYI, i submit only less then 2 weeks and got the upgrade.
