A99

Dxo measurements is technical in a sense that may not reflect actual real world usage. The low iso scores as explained by others are attributed to the loss in light from the on sensor pdaf sensors and the translucent mirror.

Those that has the a99 would know that the iso performance is not that far off from the other full frames as indicated in the comparison.

Yup. Plus, it doesn't mean it's only half as good...

Anyone know what is the street price for A99 now?

Don't be so harsh. ;)

hehe bro Rashkae will always be like that and no tolerance for such thing even if the person is a fellow Alpha :-) or his forum friend :-)

Long video that I'm watching now. Its in Japanese though. (Maybe there will be English version sometime later.) Either way it does show the capability of the A99. Stills and Video. But I'm not good enough to say whether this is accurate or not to showcase the performance of the A99 because..its shown on a 4k TV.

Nonetheless. Just share here so any interested bro or sis can watch it. They have another version that shows portraits. You should be able to find it easily since its uploaded in the same account.

It's a secret nobody will share with you. One day in the future we might have things like a World Wide Web where people can find such information themselves within seconds. Sorry, just daydreaming.

Why in particular screw drive lenses? Previous version has sal50f14 which is screw drive right? Anyone discover any additional fixes/patches not stated?

Anyone wish for bulb mode timer in the camera or there is one i don't know off?

True, I never tried the 50/1.4 on the A99... Particularly screw drive lenses because they aren't the fastest ones and I like to know how they perform in AF-D mode. I meant the newly supported lenses like the 100/2.8.

Some people claim the startup time got reduced.
